Is this a bookkeeping service?

No. Nobody logs in, nobody touches your accounts, nobody does the work for you. ClarityPlano is a self-guided system: the app plus the guides. You stay in control, and you keep the knowledge.

Is my bank data uploaded anywhere?

No. Files are read in your browser, on your device. There is no account, no login, and no bank connection. The app even works offline after the first visit.

Does it work with my bank?

Yes. The import handles any CSV or Excel export, and recognized formats arrive pre-filled. Digital PDF statements are supported for older months; scanned or photographed statements are not.

How long does the catch-up take?

Plan on 10 to 15 hours for a year of typical volume. Lighter volume runs closer to 8, heavy volume closer to 20. Anyone who promises a year of books in an afternoon has never done one.

Do I need accounting knowledge?

No. Every transaction is one card with three buttons. Categories follow official Schedule C line numbers, 255 common merchants come pre-suggested, and anything you are unsure about goes to NEEDS REVIEW for your preparer.

Does it file my taxes or tell me what I can deduct?

No. It organizes your records so a tax professional can file from them fast, with every uncertainty clearly labeled. It is not tax advice and does not replace your preparer; it makes their job smaller.

Can I use it every year?

Yes. One-time purchase, no subscription. And the Weekly 15 companion system is built so next year there is nothing to catch up on.
