SELF-GUIDED SYSTEM · INSTANT ACCESS

From a pile of statements to a workbook your preparer can work from.

Every tool you have paid for does the same thing. It pulls your transactions in, sorts them by date, and hands them back. Then it waits. The part that stops you is not collecting the transactions. It is saying what they were.

THE MECHANISM

The Three-Button Method

One transaction, one decision, dealt newest month first, so you build speed on the months you still remember. 255 merchants arrive with a Schedule C line already suggested, written the way they appear on your statement. You confirm, you do not research. And "not sure" is a real answer: it gets labelled and set aside, and the project keeps moving.

Before the four moves: gather. One folder, every month you are missing, from every account. Email 1 is written for the bank when an export stops at 90 days. Half-gathered is where people stall.

01Import · CSV, Excel, QFX, QBO or OFX from any bank or card. Older months load from the archived digital PDF, converted on your device. It checks the statement totals and balances before a single line goes in, and stops if they do not match.

02Decide · One transaction, one decision. Business, Personal, or Later, by mouse or by pressing B, P, L. Twelve charges from the same merchant arrive grouped, so one decision covers the year.

03Export · One .xlsx, three tabs: every transaction with its decision, the Schedule C summary, and everything still open listed separately with the reason it is open.

04Deliver · The folder and the exact email that ask your preparer for a price, with organized records already in front of them, before the work starts. The move no other product includes.

The honest math

Bookkeepers who do this work quote around $95 per 80 transactions, plus a setup fee. One real quote for a catch-up came to $1,970.88 that way. That is not a markup: it is the correct price for the hours. Here those hours are yours. You pay in time instead of money, and you keep the knowledge of where every number came from. And unlike every organizing system you have abandoned, this one is finite.

What you get, instantly

The Three-Button Method · runs in your browser, installs on phone and desktop, keeps working offline
Start Here: the Click-by-Click Guide · every screen, every click, from first import to first export
The Method · the order to work in, the four rules that keep a weekend from becoming a month, and what to do if you are more than a year behind
The Line Finder · the printable cheat sheet. Three questions in order, 21 Schedule C lines in plain English, and the stop signs that tell you to flag it instead of guessing
Three Emails to Send · to the bank, to a vendor, to your preparer: the three places a catch-up stalls, unblocked
The Weekly 10-Minute Module · a printable routine that keeps you current, so next year you are not starting over
The practice file · 24 fictional transactions covering every path in the app, so you learn the flow before your real records touch the screen

Your bank data never leaves your device, and you can check that yourself. No account, no login, no bank connection, nothing uploaded. Open your browser's developer tools, leave the Network tab open, and run the whole thing: it stays empty. That is also why it keeps working with no internet at all.

The work is yours. Plan on 10 to 15 hours for a year of typical volume, closer to 8 if it is light and closer to 20 if it is heavy. Anyone who says a year of books takes an afternoon has never done one.
It does not connect to your bank, on purpose. That is why it cannot break, cannot leak, and never asks for credentials.
It does not read scanned or photographed statements. No OCR: guessed numbers are worse than no numbers.
It does not sync between devices. Your work lives in the browser you started in. Finish and export there.
It is not tax advice and there is no accountant behind it. It organizes your records so a tax professional can file from them fast, with every uncertainty labelled. The goal is zero unlabelled problems, not pretending you have zero doubts.
It is not enough on its own if penalties are already running. Speak to a person before you file. Organized records make that conversation shorter.

For U.S. sole proprietors, 1099 contractors, and single-member LLCs filing Schedule C. Whether you are months behind or closing the current month.
